Londis Consumers Head Over Heels for Valentine's

In what could reflect an improvement in consumer sentiment, Londis retailers have reported a 70% increase on sales of Valentines Confectionery products when compared to the same period last year (Feb 1st – 12th).

 

The ADM Londis warehouse has been extremely busy over the last two weeks responding to extremely strong sales associated with Valentine’s Day 2010.

 

Notwithstanding the exceptional sales of premium confectionery products, the Londis wine range has also seen a 50% increase in wine shipments in the two weeks running up to Valentine's Day.

 

Commenting on the increased demand Ruth Norton, Marketing, ADM Londis said “We’ve had a tremendous response to our Valentines offers this year and are delighted that so many of our customers are looking to spread a little happiness by treating a loved one this Valentine’s Day. Of course, we wish all our customers a very Happy Valentine’s Day”
